Fiat 2 Ferrari

The Fiat to Ferrari concept came from phrases we use often within our regular classes. "Guy's we're teaching you to drive Ferraris not Fiats" or "Ladies do you want to be a Ferrari or a Fiat?". What we are trying to instill is that Ferraris are beautiful, finely tuned, powerful machines and need to be treated as such. If all you've ever learned to drive is a Fiat then you'll never be able to handle a Ferrari. Yes they're both cars but there the similarity ends! The engine and brakes in Ferrari do the same thing as those on a Fiat, they just do their jobs faster and more efficiently.

What to Expect

The Fiat to Ferrari workshops are designed to help you become finely tuned, efficient dancers.

They're not turn pattern or shine routine classes, in fact over half the day will be spent without music! The workshops will delve into the techniques and we will teach you how and why they all work. The ethos of the day is not just "what" but "how" and "why". You will go away with the knowledge of how to lead and follow effectively and why it all works.

During the workshops you'll learn a whole host of exercises that you can take away and practice to help you continue improving your dancing after the day. We can't turn you into a Ferrari or a Ferrari driver in one day but we can give you the tools to help achieve this.

A great deal of what will be taught will be unique not just in concept and content but also in delivery. You'll learn how to use broomsticks, hula hoops, elastic bands, rope, playing cards, orthopaedic braces, and blindfolds to improve your partner dancing.

Who is it for?

Whether you're looking to be the best dancer you can possibly be or just wanting to enjoy your social dancing more. These plateau busting workshops will enable you to do just that. Whilst we examine Salsa partnering techniques from the ground up, you do need to be comfortable with the basics of Cross body dancing. We suggest at least 9-12 months experience.
